On the top right hand side of the camera you'll find the mode dial. Here there are a selection of settings, turn the dial to the cam corder icon and turn it so it's in line with the indicator.
Before shooting, at the left side of the lens there will be a AF and MF switch. Switching it to AF means auto focus which fill focus automatically whereas MF means manual focus where you adjust the lens yourself to focus it.
Pressing the camera button on the top right hand side of the camera will start shooting the movie and pressing it again will stop it.
The ISO speed is 100-6400. You can find the ISO on the top right of the camera where the switch is and by flicking it left or right changes how high or low the exposure is. If a room is dark turn the ISO up to match that lighting.
