PRIMARY RESEARCH, SECONDARY RESEARCH, QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH, QUALITATIVE RESEARCH.
PRIMARY RESEARCH: Primary Research is data you collect yourself. A way of collecting this data may be interviews or surveys. This means the information is more likely to be accurate. Another way to get this data is questionnaires.
SECONDARY RESEARCH: Secondary Research is data that already exists, this could be online or from books and newspapers for example. Sometimes this could be a bad thing because the information may be false/inaccurate.
QUALITATIVE RESEARCH: Qualitative Research is data that's non-numerical and is mostly people's opinions. This can be beneficial on finding out why people like it and what people don't like.
QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH: Quantitative Research is using numbers. This is where you use numbers to gather the information instead of opinions. This is good unless you need to know reasons why they chose that option.
